The villa accommodates nine persons in a magnificent three-floor house with classic and antique furniture. The marble floors and statues complement the classic interior of the ground and first floors, while the wooden ceiling and parquet on the second floor give guests a sense of mountain comfort.

The space

Guests can rest in three fully-equipped queen bedrooms, one single bedroom and a comfortable double sofa bed. The house offers three splendid marble bathrooms and an indoor Jacuzzi for a real spa experience. Guests can enjoy Italian wine by the fireplace in the living room, study in the library or watch the latest movies on the flat screen TV in the multimedia room. Every room comes equipped with heating, bed linen, towels and a stunning lake view. The top floor has air conditioning.

Guest access

The land of the property is very large. Guests can enjoy the patio and the paths around the house, but access to the land behind the house is limited because it is very steep and densely forested. A steep walkway leads to the house from the parking on street level, which may not be suitable for people in wheelchairs and the elderly.

Two houses, total privacy

The property includes two houses: the large villa and the cottage (also available). The two houses are completely independent, with separate utilities and locks. If both houses are occupied by different guests, the two groups will only see each other around the BBQ area. We ask that guests respect the privacy of other guests.

Check-in is conducted in person by your host Marco — please let us know your expected arrival time in advance. A €50 fee applies for check-in or checkout outside the standard hours. A refundable security deposit of €200 is required for larger groups and will be collected at check-in. Valid ID or passport required for all guests to comply with Italian registration laws.

Porto Ceresio is easily reachable by car and public transport, including train and bus. Milano Malpensa Airport is approximately 43 km away (~45 minutes by car). The village is about 50 km from Milan and 11 km from Varese.

Border & Mobile

Carry ID/passport for Switzerland. Lock your phone to an Italian network to avoid Swiss roaming charges.

Individual heating in every room. Air conditioning on the top floor. CO detectors and fire extinguishers. Slippers on marble floors — socks are slippery! Bedding, towels, toiletries, a washing machine and dryer are all provided for your convenience.

Il Gigante (behind train station). Tigros in Besano. Pharmacy, post office, bank, and laundromat in the village.

Important Information

The Villa is reached by foot from the parking area along a short but steep walkway which may not be suitable for people in wheelchairs and the elderly.
